Interesting LinksTed Stevens was sort of right: The Internet IS a series of tubes.
OK. Maybe not the tubes part.
The Internet IS a series of links, and what fun would it be if I didn't have any interesting links? Sure, some of the other sections have links to blogs, likes to my profile and other stuff I'm involved with on the web, but this, THIS, is for links for the sake of having links. Things I think you should check out. Here goes nothing! | Friends and Family | ...
If you have a site and want me to link it, send me a note, you know the usual places. | | Last Modfied on 2011-10-27 15:58:48 |
| Places I hang around | - Penny-Arcade Forums: http://forums.penny-arcade.com/ - A long time ago, I routinely posted there. Fun and interesting discussions. I still hang around for the PAX forums.
- NeoGAF: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2 - I believe at one point Denis Dyack once called NeoGAF the "scum of the internet echo chamber". Then again, CliffyB posts there. As the ever popular meme goes, everything about gaming is always "GAF>Internet>GAF", which is why I hang around there.
- The Platformers: http://platformers.net/forum/index.php - The splinter group of the Penny Arcade G&T forums that I hang around, with interesting gaming and other related discussions abound.
- Wikia Gaming: http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/Wikia_Gaming - This first started as a independent gaming Wiki, which was eventually rolled into Wikia. Because of it's affiliation, it has more flexibility than Wikipedia in terms of posting standards.
- UW Gamers: http://uwgamers.org/ - I'm pretty sure I would have mentioned it in the Game Talk section, but here it is again. Once upon a time some dude named Harold started a club over at the University of Waterloo called the UW Gamers. We've played lots of games, joked about epic failed events, so on and so forth. Good times indeed.
