Game Talk| Seeing how everything I do somehow revolves around games, it's only right to have a section dedicated entirely to me writing about games. | | Game Over? Retry? | Game Over! Retry? is a design focused gaming podcast featuring me and Jon Chan, an ex-coworker from the days of Tecmo Koei Canada.
| Join hosts Jon Chan and Harold Li, two Game Designers at the edge of the industry, as they discuss games they\'re playing, design mechanics, trends, and how ridiculous game development can be as an industry. |
You can subscribe to it via iTunes here | | What I'm Playing now. | I'm going to let this Image URL do the talking:
| | Tracking my gaming activity | Any discussion about games should always be prefaced with "What have you played?" and "What did you like about them?" Knowing each person's taste in games makes a huge difference in understanding a design and thought process when it comes to games. I can tell you that what I like is vast and diverse, but there's nothing better than showing it. There's a surprisingly many ways to track my gaming progress:- Backloggery - As mentioned above, does an admirable job of tracking the stuff I own, and what I'm currently playing.
- Wikia Gaming - Wikia Gaming started out as an independent gaming wiki that I was a part of. I have a page that I use to track what games I have, in addition to add entries and info on such games.
- True Achievements - This is one of those really interesting sites for the 360, only because this allows you to track the difficulty of the achievement based on the population who's signed up.
